August 24, 2010. We have many exciting news at Emsisoft:
Brand new: Emsisoft Emergency Kit 1.0 published!
Despite the hot European summer and holiday period our development team works at full speeds. With the Emsisoft Emergency Kit we are able to announce the next important release after Mamutu 3.0. The tool is completely free for private use and is made for mobile use like on a USB stick.
The Emsisoft Emergency Kit can simply be unpacked to a PC or memory stick and is instantly fit for service. It helps cleaning infected computers or scanning for Malware. Hunting malicious programs has never been that easy at Emsisoft: just download and start.
Our Emergency Kit consists out of four different components::
- Emsisoft Emergency Kit Scanner - It is based on the award winning Emsisoft Anti-Malware detection and removal technology. It offers all functionality that the previous USB edition of a-squared Free provided and adds a lot of improvements done in Emsisoft Anti-Malware 5.0.
- Emsisoft Commandline Scanner - This scanner offers the same functions as the Emergency Kit scanner, but without a graphical interface. The tool targets professional users and can perfectly be used for batch processing.
- Emsisoft HiJackFree - HiJackFree aids experienced users with manual Malware detection and removal. All active processes, drivers, services, autostarts and open ports can be administrated. Gain full control of your system!
- Emsisoft BlitzBlank - BlitzBlank aswell is a tool for experienced users and all those who daily deal with Malware infections. These infections are not always easy to remove as pests today use filed techniques to prevent deletion. BlitzBlank erases files, registry entries and drivers right before Windows and other programs are loaded.
