Emsisoft Anti-Malware again convincing in an MRG test series

The well-known independent organization Malware Research Group performed a series of Malware detection tests with individual pests in September. This series of tests pitted 19 well-known security programs in a duel against 10 different brand-new pests.

Emsisoft Anti-Malware was clearly the only program able to immediately detect all pest programs. We are of course very happy with this additional confirmation of the performance of our software.

Improvements in Emsisoft Anti-Malware

Our most recent update to version 5.0.0.81 has once more greatly improved Emsisoft Anti-Malware.

The main improvements:

• New Server Mode:
  The File Guard now starts up as soon as the system starts, without a visible symbol in the Taskbar. This protects your computer even when no-one is logged in.
• New optional File Guard Email Notifications:
  This is intended for Server Mode operation so that you can be automatically informed of any Malware that has been detected and quarantined.
• Reworked Surf Protection:
  This is now fully compatible with Internet Explorer under Windows 7 x64.
• Optional labeling of blocked hosts:
  If you participate in the Anti-Malware Network then blocked websites are now labeled with "Blocked by Emsisoft Anti-Malware".
• Many small improvements:
  The number of alerts has been further reduced, the Update settings have been simplified and the overall stability has been improved.
