Emsisoft Anti-Malware 5.1 now available!

Due to significant technical improvements, the version number of our flagship product for fighting all types of Malware is now 5.1. The two major new features:

• Immediate protection after booting:
  In previous versions, a user had to be logged into the PC in order to activate the PC protection (status displayed via a symbol in the Taskbar). In version 5.1 you have the option of immediately activating the File Guard during the boot process. Anti-Malware then runs completely invisibly without requiring user interaction until a user actually logs in. Automatic updates are also installed as required during this time. You can select the desired operating mode in the File Guard settings area.
• Email notification:
  When operating in invisible mode, it is necessary for you or an administrator to receive email notification when Malware is detected and placed in Quarantine. A new dialog for configuring the email notification process is now provided for this purpose in the File Guard settings.

The new version also contains numerous small improvements. These include improved behavior-based detection of TDL-3 and TDL-4 Rootkits and new features in the Anti-Malware Update-Proxy for use in network environments.

Emsisoft Anti-Malware now also available for Windows Server

With the new Anti-Malware for Server you can now not only protect desktop computers from virtual dangers but also servers in professional systems. This version supports Windows Server 2003 and 2008 (incl. x64).

Not only the name is similar to our proven tool for desktop computers, numerous tests have also confirmed top Malware detection performance for both Emsisoft Anti-Malware and Emsisoft Anti-Malware for Server.

You need your own Server License for Emsisoft Anti-Malware for Server. The price is oriented on that of the desktop solution * 5. A server license costs only US $200.-.
