a-squared Scanner - Malware Scan

During the scan:

You can already see all located suspect object on the list during the scan. Click on the name of the detected Malware to know more about it. A new browser window will open with a detail report. Meanwhile the scan goes on.

As soon as the scan is completed buttons appear for a further treatment of the Malware infection.

In case of Malware findings:

• If your are not sure whether a located object is really dangerous or not always use the quarantine. Therefor you choose the respective objects in list (hook the check box) and click on "Quarantine selected objects" afterwards. The quarantine keeps the Malware safe so that it can't do damages anymore. You can undelete the objects in quarantine if required. More about the quarantine
   
• Just click on "Delete" if you are absolutely sure that you don't need the located objects any longer. So the detected objects will be deleted irrevocably.

Hint:
With a right click on the list you'll get a context menu that makes it able to select all entries with just one click. It is also possible to invert the screening ore to reverse the assortment with that menu. You also can add particular Malware names to the whitelist. That Malware will not be denounced in later scans.

Scan report:

Click on the button "Save Report" to save a scan report in txt format.
