To help our customers avoid becoming victims of fraud, we’ve teamed up with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance and ScamAdviser. Here’s how it works.

The latest version of our endpoint protection solutions use ScamAdviser’s list of known-bad websites to help you stay safe. When the new Anti-Scam feature is enabled, you’ll see a notification either in-application or, if you use it, in Emsisoft Browser Security.

To enable the Anti-Scam feature, open MyEmsisoft, go to ‘Protection policies’ in your Emsisoft workspace and navigate to ‘Content Filtering’. Enable the category ‘Scam’.

How to obtain the new version

So long as you have auto-updates enabled, you will receive the latest version automatically during your regularly scheduled updates.

Note to Enterprise users: If you have chosen to receive “Delayed” updates, client systems will receive the new version no earlier than 30 days after the regular “Stable” availability.
