a-squared Anti-Malware 4.5 & a-squared Free 4.5 released!

Tuning of existing features was the main focus of our development work in recent months. We have revised the Surf Protection thoroughly, so that less annoying alarm popup windows appear. With useful shortcut buttons you can now permanently allow or block alerted hosts with a single mouse click. Example:

Improved false alert filters

a-squared Anti-Malware 4.5 has got additional false alert filter layers. Signed files of trustworthy software vendors are no longer alerted by the behavior blocker (Malware-IDS). Combined with the community based alert reduction, a-squared Anti-Malware is now extremely silent compared with previous versions. But real malware is still blocked on a very high quality level.

Windows Securitycenter integration

a-squared Anti-Malware 4.5 is now recognized as a full antivirus program by Windows XP and Vista.

Beyond these developments we have implemented hundreds of little detail improvements and wishes of our customers. E.g. you can configure the display delay of update notifications and other popups in detail now.
