We decided we’d mark the new year by looking back at the old and highlight some of the more significant enhancements we made to our product line-up in 2023. These changes reflect our commitment to continuously improve our products in order to help keep you safer and deliver a top notch user experience.

In Q1 2023, we introduced Scam Protection to help protect you from … well,
scams obviously. Scam websites have become increasingly harder to spot, so this new feature will make it less likely that you or your family will be stung. We also bolstered our ransomware protection, to ensure that your devices are protected better than ever.

Q2 was all about performance with multiple enhancements to boost speed and responsiveness, and to minimize system impact.

In Q3, we introduced Ransomware Rollback. This is a safety net which enables you to rollback changes in the unlikely event that ransomware attack bypasses your protection and is able to encrypt your files. We also introduced support for passkeys and further improved the detection of script-based malware.

In Q4, we introduced an Application Inventory feature which enables admins to see what applications are installed on users’ systems and remove any that shouldn’t be installed. We also laid the groundwork for functionality that will enable our products to make better use of machine learning in the months ahead.

In addition to all this, we continued to add functionality to our EDR and integrate with more third-party products, including SIEMs and RMMs.
In 2024, we’ll continue to work hard to ensure our products provide you with the best possible protection, use experience, and compatibility.

Happy New Year!
